Q: Are all Chem-Dry franchises the same?
A:

Chem-Dry is the world’s largest carpet cleaning franchise, present in Australia in every estate. Each Chem-Dry franchisee abide by Chem-Dry standards and procedures, but we are all independently owned and operated businesses. This may reflect in the use of different Chem-Dry approved cleaning systems and price lists from franchisee to franchisee.

Q: Are you insured and police cleared?
A:

Yes, our business is fully insured and our technicians are police cleared. Please feel free to request a copy of these documents if necessary.

Q: Is your service guaranteed?
A:

Most of the services we provide are 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. Please refer to our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee terms and conditions for more details.

Q: How can I make a booking?
A:

You can either call us between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday or place your booking via our online booking system. We highly recommend taking advantage of our easy online booking system, where you can check prices, check availability and place a booking 24/7. However, if you need an urgent booking please give us a call.

Q: How far in advance do I need to book?
A:

The earlier the better! We receive many booking requests by phone and online. Therefore, to secure a day and time that best suits your needs be sure to call us at least 3 days prior to your booking date. During peak times however, this can extend to a week or more.

A:

Yes, we are a mobile business. We will meet you at your home or your workplace.

Q: Can you clean my car in the car park at my workplace?
A:

Yes, if we have easy access to water, power, and natural light and if there is enough space to have the vehicle doors open during cleaning.

Q: What is included in the cleaning?
A:

This will depend on the package you have chosen. Click here to see our packages.

Q: My car has a bed smell. Can you fix it?
A:

Yes, we will clean the car and apply a sanitiser to fight the source of the smell. Sometimes an extensive cleaning may be required to successfuly eliminate odours. Please see our car interior page for more information on Specialty Service.

Q: Can you get stains out?
A:

Our products and processes are gentle on all kinds of fabric, whether of natural or synthetic origin, but tough enough to remove or reduce the most stubborn stains. The final result will largely depend on the type of fabric, the stain itself and how long it has been left to penetrate.

Q: Do you offer protectant?
A:

Yes, protectant aerosol is available for purchase directly from our technician which you apply to the areas yourself. It also can be included in the price depending on your package. Please note that we recommend applying this product following a professional clean.

Q: Are Chem-Dry products safe for my kids and pets?
A:

We clean your carpets and upholstery with minimal impact on the environment using Chem-Dry’s safe and non-toxic cleaning solution, The Natural®. It is 100 percent non-toxic, natural, known as one of the purest carpet cleaning solutions available, and is the heart of our cleaning process.

Q: How can I get prices?
A:

Q: What is your minimum service charge?
A:

$135 plus 10% GST.

Q: My seats are heavily soiled. Will it cost me more to get it cleaned?
A:

It can, because additional time and cleaning solutions may be necessary to break down heavy grime, soil and other contaminants from your fabric and therefore achieve the optimum cleaning results. Please let us know upon booking about the condition of your upholstery. We prefer to discuss final cost on-site to better evaluate your upholstery’s condition and therefore avoid potential overcharge. You can decline the final price with no cancellation fee.

Q: What are considered additional charges?
A:

Extra services such as the cleaning of heavily soiled items, urine and faeces removal or add-on services such as sanitiser, deodoriser or protectant application.

Q: Is there a cancellation fee?
A:

No, there is no cancellation fee. However, we request and would greatly appreciate it if you could notify us at least 24 hours prior if you wish to cancel your service. This will save us not only time but a lot of effort and preparation that goes into each job that we undertake.

Q: How can I pay for your service?
A:

Payment is made directly to the technician on-site following the completion of the job. Accepted payment options are cash, debit or credit card (Visa and MasterCard). If you cannot be on site with the technician, payment can be processed via credit/debit card over the phone.

Q: What should I do before the technician arrives?
A:

The car must be parked in an accessible area with an electricity connection and enough room to have all the car’s doors open during cleaning.

Q: How long does the cleaning process take?
A:

It usually takes 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the size of the vehicle and its condition.

Q: How long will it take to dry?
A:

It can take from 2 to 6 hours depending on the weather.

Q: Do I need to do anything special after my car is cleaned?
A:

Allow air to circulate by leaving the windows down. Turning on the heater while driving will speed up the drying time.
